Charlotte Rae (Thompson) Diem

Charlotte Rae (Thompson) Diem, 88, of Narvon, passed away on September 10, 2024 at Wellspan Ephrata Hospital.

Born in Honey Brook, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Nellie (Miller) Thompson.

She was the wife of Robert J. Diem, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pequea. She was first employed by the former New Holland Silk Mill and then spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, sitting in her swing and watching traffic and spending time with her family.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Robert, her children, Brenda wife of Richard Graham, Terrie wife of Charles Miller, David husband of Louise Diem, Vickie Klaassen and Allen husband of Jessica Diem, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and siblings, Dale husband of Gwen Thompson, Jim husband of Debbie Thompson and Frannie widow of Bill Messner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Perry, Ralph and Betty Sue.

Services will be held private at the convenience of the family.

Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the arrangements.
