Cheryl "Cherie" F. Mudgett

Cheryl Faith Mudgett, 90, of New Holland, PA, left us peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 24, 2024. Cheryl or “Cherie” was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remembered for her gentle, loving kindness towards her family, friends, and everyone she met. She knew how to make everyone around her feel special and she will be deeply missed.

Born on September 9, 1934, in South Portland, Maine, Cherie grew up in Norway, Maine as the only daughter of John and Marjorie Anderson and sister to one brother Stanton. When she wasn’t helping around the house, Cherie was an active young adult in the Norway community. As a young person, she loved playing the piano and singing.

Cherie was a Licensed Dental Hygienist. She held licenses in Maine, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania. Cherie raised her family and worked for 45 years in Drexel Hill, PA. She developed many personal relationships with her patients, and loved watching their families grow.

On June 22nd, 1957, Cherie married the love of her life, Paul Mudgett. The two shared a wonderful 67 years together. Their marriage yielded three children, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Cherie is survived by her husband, Paul Mudgett, two sons, John Mudgett of Mertztown, PA, Tim Mudgett-McGeoch of West Grove, PA, and a daughter Susan (Mudgett) Parsons of Wallingford, PA as well as nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Cherie is predeceased by her brother Stanton Anderson.

A public memorial service for Cherie will be held at the Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA on December 11 at 11:00 A.M.
