Chris A. Hyneman

Chris A. Kurtz Hyneman, 38, of Sheerlund Road, Reading, died unexpectedly near her home on Monday, December 9, 2013.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Norma Kurtz and Donald Skowood of Denver. She would have been married 11 years on Dec. 31 to Mike Hyneman.

Chris worked for the past 10 years as a Certified Nurses Aid at the Reading Hospital and also evenings at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. She was a member of The Bridge Church in Shillington.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are three sons, Randy Kurtz of Scranton, Zach and Nick Hyneman both at home; and a step sister, Kristin Skowood of New Holland.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 13 at 11 am at The Bridge, 902 Philadelphia Ave., Shillington, PA with the Reverend Johnny Hughes officiating. Interment will be in the Yocum’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W.
