Christian A. Caruso

Christian A. “Chris” Caruso, 40, of Denver, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Ephrata Community Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Reading he was the son of Karen (Woellner) Caruso of Narvon and the late Don J. Caruso.

Chris worked from 1994 until 2008 for the New Holland Borough Waste Water Treatment Plant as a Lab Technician. He also served as an assistant Boy Scout Leader for the Terre Hill Troop #172 and he served as a volunteer Firefighter with the New Holland Liberty Fire Company. Among his many interests he enjoyed golf, skiing, reading, writing, fishing, and sailing.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two brothers, Ross and Marc Caruso both of Lancaster; and his special and loving aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts, and great uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 30 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water St., New Holland, PA 17557 with the Reverend Fr. Pang J.S. Tcheou officiating. Interment will be in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Viewing will be held on Monday from 6-8 pm at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland.
