Clarence Z. Martin, 73, of 499 Reading Rd., East Earl died Tuesday, March 19 at his home.
Born in Terre Hill, he was the son of the late Phares M. and Sarah (Zimmerman) Martin.
Clarence was a farmer and a member of Reidenbach Mennonite Church.
Surviving are 10 siblings: Mary married to Ben Hoover, New Holland; Rufus married to Lydia (Hoover) Martin, Denver; Paul married to Anna (Hoover) Martin, East Earl, with whom he resided; Amos married to Florence (Martin) Martin, Milton; Sarah married to Rufus Hoover, New Holland; Anna married to David Hoover, New Holland; Aaron married to Lizzie (Hoover) Martin, Denver; Harvey married to Lena (Hoover) Martin, Elkton, KY; Lizzie married to Rufus Nolt, Versailles, MO; and Luke married to Elva (Hoover) Martin, Leichtfield, KY.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lydia Hoover and four brothers: Ivan, Phares, Christ and John, an infant.
His funeral will be held on Monday, March 25 at his late home at 9 a.m. with further services at 9:45 a.m. at the Reidenbach Mennonite Church with Bishop Noah G. Martin officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at his late home on Sunday from 2 – 6 p.m. Kindly omit flowers. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements.
