Constance R. Kennedy

Constance R. Kennedy, 91, of New Holland, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Garden Spot Village.

Born in Westerly, RI, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Clara (Royal) Willis. Her husband, Blair F. Kennedy, died Aug. 20, 2003.

Connie was a homemaker most of her life but worked for a time as the head of the tour guide department of Sperry New Holland.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church where she served as head of the Missions Committee.

She enjoyed silk flower arranging, ceramics, decorating, and attending Bible study groups.

Surviving are two sons, Scott, married to Mary Ellen (Van Ormer) Kennedy of Lancaster, and Gregg, married to Donna (Weaver) Kennedy of New Holland; two grandchildren, Ryan, married to Karolin (Heitz) Kennedy, and Lindsey Kennedy; and two great grandchildren, Jacob and Daniel Kennedy.

She was the last of her immediate family.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 1 pm, with family visitation from Noon – 1 pm, at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland with the Reverend Jay Fulmer officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at the Evangelical United Methodist Cemetery.
