Cora E. Trago

Cora E. Trago, 106, of New Holland, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Moravian Manor in Lititz.

She was the wife of the late Norman W. Trago who died in 1998. Born in Salisbury Twp, she was the daughter of the late John Jacob and Daisy May Rutter Shirk.

Cora was a homemaker and early in life had worked in a silk mill. She had attended the Center Grade School and the Salisbury High School. She attended the Evangelical United Methodist Church in New Holland. Cora’s interest were gardening, reading, quilting and earlier in life had enjoyed hunting with her husband.

The last of 12 siblings in her family, she is survived by nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, at 2:00 P.M. at the Groff High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St, New Holland, with the Rev. Jerome Heath officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the Pequea Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Trago’s memory may be made to Lancaster Bible College, 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA 17601.
