Cynthia A. Stimpson

Cynthia A. “Cyndi” (Howell) Stimpson, 64, of Lancaster, passed away at Conestoga View Nursing and Rehabilitation on November 19, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Terry A. Stimpson.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late E. Eugene “Hootie” and Gloria (Beck) Howell.

Cyndi was a human resources manager for Amelia’s Grocery Outlet for over 25 years, winning Amelia’s Outstanding Employee of the Year for 1994.

Cyndi enjoyed bingo, pinochle, Scrabble, and visiting casinos. She was a member of the Covered Bridge ABWA club (having won ABWA Woman of the Year), as well as the Ford New Holland and Lancaster Red Rose Toastmasters (named Toastmaster of the Year). She was also an avid traveler, having visited 44 states and 46 countries over 5 continents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 10 a.m. at Conestoga View Nursing and Rehabilitation, 900 E King St, Lancaster, PA 17602, with Pastor Dennis K. Regitz officiating.
