Dale D. Keifer

Dale D. Keifer, 77, of Dover, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his home.

Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Kathryn A. (Ertz) Keifer.

Dale had been employed by Shaffer’s Eggs and Gerhart Brothers, both in Ephrata.

He enjoyed playing cards weekly, bowling, and hunting.

Surviving are four siblings: Shirley Zoll, Honey Brook; Joan Reider, Narvon; Lynn E. married to Shirley (Shaeffer) Keifer, Schoeneck; and Dawn married to Ralph Barshinger, Dover; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Warren W. Keifer.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13 at 11 a.m. at Center Union Cemetery with Pastor John Estes officiating. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be posted at www.groffeckenroth.com.
