David R. Boley

David R. Boley, 72, of 138 Amber Circle, New Holland, died Thursday, April 24 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Mildred (Hanna) Boley.


Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Paul and Amanda I. (Sandoe) Boley.


Dave was a painter at the Pennsylvania Scale Company and was baptized at Mt. Culmen Church.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda Hughes, New Holland and three grandchildren; and six siblings: Dorothy White, Hamburg, Vonnie married to Melvin Boley, Blue Ball, Malcolm married to Shelba (Holllinger) Boley, New Holland, Sharon married to Gerald McEldorney, New Holland, Deborah married to Robert Chamberlain, New Holland, and Ricky L. Boley husband of Wilma Parsons, Orbisonia.


He was preceded in death by three brothers: Paul H. Boley, Larry Boley, and Robert “Sonny” Boley.


Hiss funeral will be held on Monday, April 27. 2015 at 2 p.m. at Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with Pastor C. Kenneth Martin officiating. Interment in the Mt. Culmen Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Groff-High Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Kindly omit flowers. Online condolences may be posted at www.groffeckenroth.com.
