David Westley Brisiel

On December 22, 2021, David Westley Brisiel went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family following a courageous two year battle with cancer.

Born on January 25, 1944 to parents Carl and Sarah Brisiel, they resided in Aston, PA.

Dave graduated from Eddystone High School and enlisted in the US Army, serving in Turkey as a Morse code specialist. Following his service, he embarked on a 34 year career at DuPont as a chemicals technician. He met and married Diane Brisiel and raised two children, Christopher and Patrick.

Dave was passionate in many endeavors, including helping family and friends, his church community, his grandchildren, walking his dogs Joy and Patches, camping at Knoebels Groves, snare drumming in drum and bugle corps, and Philadelphia sports. One of his proudest moments was marching in Dublin, Ireland's Saint Patrick’s Day parade with the Reilly Raiders. His most important decision was to trust in Jesus Christ for his salvation.

Dave is survived by his wife of fifty three years, Diane (Baxter) Brisiel, sons; Christopher husband of Sandra Brisiel and Patrick husband of Anne Brisiel, grandchildren Sara, Elizabeth, Patra, and Flint, and brother; Alan husband of Sharon Brisiel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to Terre Hill Bible Fellowship at the address below.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00AM at Terre Hill Bible Fellowship, 407 W Main Street, Terre Hill PA 17581. There will be a time of visitation held for one hour prior to the time of service. Interment in Terre Hill Cemetery.

CDC guidelines will be in place at the request of the family.
