David Lee Cowan

David Lee Cowan, 80, of East Earl, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

He was the husband of Jane Louise Minnich Cowan. Born in Natrona Heights, PA he was the son of the late John Richard and Margaret Walters Cowan.

David was an Officer in the U.S. Navy and retired after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Virginia Beach, VA. He enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, golfing, and traveling.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, David, Jr. husband of Diane Cowan of NC, and John Cowan of Virginia Beach, VA; two daughters, Laura Cowan of Virginia Beach, VA, and Carol wife of Tim Mekosh of Virginia Beach, VA; 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and a brother, Jim husband of Joanne Cowan of Butler. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Cowan. He will be greatly missed by his dog, Bentley.
