David R. Kilhefner

David R. Kilhefner Sr., 70, of Terre Hill, passed away approximately at 18:45 on June 1, 2024 at Wellspan York Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Galen C. and Cecelia Nancy (Bailey) Kilhefner.

He was the loving husband of Kathleen M. (Barrett) Kilhefner.

David retired from the United States Navy after 24 years of service as an Aviation

Boatswain's Mate Chief Petty Officer. He will be remembered best as a loving husband, Father, Sailor, and Poppop.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, children, Nicole M. Kilhefner, Galen C. husband of Gina Kilhefner and David R. Kilhefner Jr., grandchildren, Cameron Kilhefner, Theodore Kilhefner, Finnegan Kilhefner and Everleigh Kilhefner, Siblings, Kathleen Shopf, Jane wife of Ted Dellinger, William husband of Janine Kilhefner and Mark husband of Denise Kilhefner and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Shane Kilhefner and brothers, Glenn Kilhefner and Donald Kilhefner.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 14th, 10am at C. Stanley Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E Main Street, Terre Hill PA 17581. Inurnment will be held in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville PA 17003.
