David R. Kuhne

David R. Kuhne, 77, of New Holland, passed away on May 2, 2025 at Wellspan Ephrata Hospital.

Born in Erie, he was the son of the late William M. and Merna (King) Kuhne.

He was the husband of Janet L. (Frank) Kuhne, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

He was a computer systems analyst for CNH and International Paper. He was a member of the New Holland American Legion. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He loved to learn and research new things.

David is survived by his wife, Janet, daughter, Amy L. wife of David M. Edlind, seven grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his siblings, Gary Kuhne husband of Kathy, Mark Kuhne, Jim Kuhne husband of Sue, Val Zampogna wife of Joe and Debbie Hayes wife of Larry.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Shaun D. Kuhne, who passed away on January 1, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Erie, PA.
