David W. Means

David W. Means, 64, of Narvon, passed away on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late William and Nancy Burkhart.

He was the loving husband of Margaret M. (Galloway), with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.

He was a member of the Church of Saint Benedict and was an avid outdoorsman who was an accomplished trapper and hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and taking care of the home he loved so much. He also enjoyed the occasional trip to the flea market.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughters, Christine M. wife of Chris Rojahn and Melissa E. wife of Josh Metzler and grandchildren, Connor, Adilynn, David and Charlotte, all of Narvon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Benedict, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton PA 19540 with Father Stanley Moczydlowski officiating. A time of visitation will be held for one hour prior to mass at the church. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at C. Stanley Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E Main Street, Terre Hill PA 17581. Interment will be held in Churchtown United Methodist Church Cemetery.
