Debra E. Horning Brubaker

Debra Horning Brubaker, 67, of East Earl, died suddenly on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Brubaker, Jr. They were married 25 years but had been together for 40 years.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Alton E. and Mildred (Witwer) Horning.

Debra was a paralegal, recently retiring from the law firm Pyfer, Reese, Straub, Gray, and Farhart. She had also been involved with the Pilot Club of Lancaster, Inc..

She was an active member of Mt. Culmen E. C. Church, East Earl, and enjoyed playing the piano.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Robert E. Horning married to Kimberly, East Earl.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Culmen E. C. Church, 1885 Turkey Hill Rd., East Earl with Pastor Jonathan Brown officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill, is honored to serve the Brubaker family.
