Debra C. Shaffer

Debra C. Shaffer, 69, of New Holland, passed away at Ephrata Community Hospital, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Debra was born in Lancaster, to her late parents, Richard C. and Helen A. (Sandoe) Usner. Her beloved husband of 33 years, Zane L. Shaffer, survives at home.

Debra was an antique enthusiast. She enjoyed collecting fine china, restoring, and then reselling it. She was most happy being surrounded by her family, enjoyed visiting local restaurants for a meal, and spending time with her beloved cats. Debra was a member of Ranck’s United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Debra is survived by her children, Travis R. Frank, of New Holland, Bryan Z. Shaffer, of East Petersburg, and Janell L. Shaffer, of Lancaster. In addition, she is survived by her brothers, Dennis Usner and his wife Bonnie, and Randy Usner and his wife Clara.

A Graveside Service with inurnment will be held at Ranck’s United Methodist Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
