Dena Simone Weaver

Dena Simone Weaver, 26, of Hermitage, TN passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

She was the wife of Jack Norman Nicholson III. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Luke and Joanne Martin Weaver,

Dena was a graduate of Terre Hill Mennonite High School and had been employed as a hostess in the restaurant industry. She was known for her skilled writing and her infectious laugh. Dena enjoyed working with children and was a good mother to her children.

Surviving besides her husband and parents are three children, Jack Norman Nicholson IV, Alessandra Rylee Nicholson, and Ellowyn Tainia Nicholson; two brothers, Daryl L. husband of Jen L. (Nolt) Weaver, and Delmar S. husband of Rachel F. (Gehman) Weaver; and a sister DeeAmber J. Weaver.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 5, at 11:00 A.M. at Cornerstone Mennonite Fellowship, 240 S. Oak St., Ephrata, PA with Pastors Jay Laughman, Phil Groff and Barry Wenger officiating. A Viewing will be held at Cornerstone Mennonite Fellowship on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, prior to the Memorial Service, at 9:00 A.M. at the Martindale Mennonite Church Cemetery, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata, PA.
