Denise M. Gibson

Denise M. (Shellehammer) Gibson, 68, of East Earl, passed away on July 30, 2024 in her residence.

Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Patricia (Knoll) Shellehammer.

She was the wife of John M. Gibson and they shared over 40 years together.

Denise had previously worked for the former People’s Drug Store, the former A&W Screen Printing for 20 years and retired from Grocery Outlet after working there for 10 years. She enjoyed attending drag races and the Sea Witch Festival in Rehoboth with her husband. She enjoyed watching various tv shows and spending time with her cats, Savannah, China, Buddy, Mike, Jack and Alex.

Denise is survived her husband, her children, David A. Furjanic companion of Jennifer Good of Ephrata, Donald A. husband of Beth Furjanic of Ephrata and Patrick R. Furjanic of Houston, TX, grandchildren, Samantha, Dallion, David Jr., Emily, Shirley and Elise. Also surviving is her sister, Mary Beth wife of Ren Angelini, nephews, Zach husband of Heather Shellehammer and Cody Shellehammer and niece, Jessica Flory.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Flory and Susan Shellehammer.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
