Dennis M. Fassnacht

Dennis M. Fassnacht, Sr., 49, of Stevens, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015, after a life-long struggle with substance abuse.

Born in Ephrata, he was a son of the late Levarn R. and Shirley (Fromm) Fassnacht.

Dennis was a construction worker who in his spare time was a huge Tony Stewart fan, enjoyed demolition derby driving, and loved watching Eagles football.

Surviving along with his mother are his two sons: Dennis Fassnacht, Jr., husband of Jamie, of Dover, PA, and Daryn Fassnacht of Ephrata, PA; a grandson, Noah Fassnacht; four siblings: Robert Fassnacht, husband of Patty, of Denver, PA, Clifford Fassnacht of Camp Hill, PA, Waylon Fassnacht, companion of Danielle, of New Cumberland, PA, and Darla Kissinger, wife of Jamey, of Denver, PA; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Ryan Fassnacht.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, PA 17581. Interment will follow at Steinmetz Cemetery, Stevens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-9 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 and 1 hour prior to Thursday services.
