Diane E. Robbins

Diane E. (Alstrup) Robbins, 90, of New Holland, PA, passed away on February 28, 2023. She was a resident of Garden Spot Village.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mildred R. (Wilson) Alstrup. She was the loving wife of the late Herbert C. Robbins; they were married on March 27, 1954 and shared sixty one years of marriage until the time of his passing on October 18, 2015.

Diane was a member of The Community Church at Garden Spot Village. She received her R.N. degree from Middlesex Nursing School in NJ and was employed as a Registered Nurse for 20 years at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, PA. She enjoyed reading, baking, listening to music, attending Bible studies, writing letters, caring for others and traveling with her husband after their retirement. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her children Keith (Cathy) Robbins of Bradenton, FL; Kevin (Laura) Robbins of Lockport, NY; Timothy (Brenda) Robbins of Nicholasville, KY; Amy (Cynthia) Wilson Seiden of Boothwyn, PA; and Beth (Mark) Harris of Lynchburg, VA; in addition to thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister, Nancy Briggs and her brother; Tom Alstrup.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brother; Kenneth Alstrup.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S Kinzer Avenue, New Holland PA 17557, with Chaplain Chet Yoder officiating. There will be family visitation following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Garden Spot Benevolent Fund at the address above.
