Dianne (Tench) Simmons, 78, of New Holland, passed away on July 18, 2026 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Ralph B. Tench Jr. and Isabel (Jordan) Tench.

She was the wife of Russell Lee Simmons, with whom she shared 21 years of marriage.

She was a manager in different areas of retail for her working career and she loved dogs.

Dianne is survived by her husband, Russell, her niece, Courtney Simmons, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William C. Tench.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Ranck’s United Methodist Church Cemetery.
