Dona I. Kuipers

Dona I. Kuipers, 82, of One Freemason Dr., Elizabethtown, formerly of New Holland, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Masonic Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth J. Kuipers in 2007.

Born in Holland, MI, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Opa (Latta) McCormick.

Early in her life, Dona worked at the newspaper in Holland, MI, but was then a homemaker for most of her life.

Surviving are three children: Kenneth D. married to Victoria Kuipers, Mountville; Kathy married to Barry Fair, Akron; and Kerry Kuipers, Lancaster; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

At the family’s request, a private gathering to celebrate her life will be held at their convenience. However, the family will receive friends on Sunday, July 8 from 1 to 3 PM at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland. Kindly omit flowers.
