Donald E. Boley

Donald E. Boley, Jr., 48, of 5711 Northeimer Rd., Narvon, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 surrounded by his family at Ephrata Community Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. His wife of 25 years, Dawn (Millisock) Boley, survives.


Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Anna (Sweitzer) Boley, New Holland and the late Donald E. Boley.


Don had been employed for more than 26 years with Burkholder Paving and more recently with Lyons & Hohl.


He enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding his motorcycle and watching Westerns.


He had been in the Marine Corps reserve from 1984-1988.


In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Hunter Marie, at home and four sisters: Tina Marie Lannom, TX; Susan Zoll, Ephrata; Melissa Fritsch, Airville; Roxanne Burdett, Narvon.


His funeral will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with Pastor Dennis Moyer officiating. Interment will be in Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 – 11 a.m. Online condolences may be posted at www.groffeckenroth.com.
