Donald M. Koppenheffer

Donald M. “Kopp” Koppenheffer, 83, formerly of Camp Hill died Thursday, January 10 at The Magnolias of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine (Daniel) Koppenheffer in 2005.

Born in Elizabethville, he was the son of the late Myron and Gertrude (Miller) Koppenheffer.

Donald was employed by the Postal Service in the Camp Hill and Harrisburg offices.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of Chapel Hill United Church of Christ and the American Legion.

The last of his family, he is survived by two nieces and a nephew: Mary Leaman, Jane Cowan and Tom Minnich.

His funeral will be held on Monday, January 14 at 11 am at Chapel Hill United Church of Christ with Pastor Galen Russell officiating. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville at 2:30 on Monday.
