Donald R. Lee

Donald R. Lee, Sr., 68, of New Holland, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017, surrounded by family, at Atlantic General Hospital, Maryland. He was the loving husband of Hilda Marie “Corky” (Weaver) Lee, with whom he shared over 39 years of marriage.

Born in Lynchburg, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Doris D. (Hatcher) Lee.

Donnie worked in manufacturing at Case New Holland for over 37 years. He was a member of the New Holland American Legion, the Riverside Camping Association, and a life-time member of the Ephrata Elks. Donnie was an avid Nascar fan, but mostly enjoyed time with friends and family, while fishing and boating in OCMD. He was gifted mechanically, and took joy in building almost anything the family needed or desired.

In addition to his wife, Donnie is survived by two children: Donald R. Lee, Jr., husband of Stacia, of Denver, and Jennifer L. Kling, wife of Ron II, of Bridgeport; a sister, Debbie Brown, wife of Richard, of Christiana; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held of Friday, June 30, 2017 at 7 PM at Grace Family Church, 415 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland PA 17557 with Donald R. Lee, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 6-7 PM prior to services. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
