Dorothy Pauline Gamble

Dorothy P. Gamble, 86, of Denver, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

She was the wife of the late Jerry R. Gamble, Sr. who died in 2018. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Suie Martin Nolt.

Dorothy retired from the West Grove Knitting Mill where she had been employed as a seamstress. She was a member of Pine Grove Church in Bowmansville. Her interests included gardening and cooking.

Surviving is a son, Jerry R. Gamble, Jr. fiancé of Kathleen Flaherty of Denver; two sisters, Irene Wall of Narvon and Pearl wife of Ronald Rutter of Ephrata; and a brother, Carl Nolt of Ephrata. She was preceded in death by sisters, Erla Vollenwiever and Marie Hassel.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 29, at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Grove Church, 1194 Reading Road, Bowmansville, PA. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Pine Grove Church.
