Dorothy M. Liezert

Dorothy M. (Martin) Liezert, 91, formerly of New Holland, passed away on December 10, 2023 as a resident of Ephrata Manor.

Born and raised in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabeth (Spotts) Martin.

She was a member of Zeltenreich Reformed Church. She was a domestic cleaner for most of her life and worked for several factories. She had retired from Heritage Custom Kitchens. She enjoyed going to the casinos, walking, baking and cooking and completing needlepoint projects.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters; Charlotte Lester, Karen (Kenneth Jr.) Clark and Sharon (Gene) Martin all of New Holland, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings; Betty widow of Mart Wanner, Donald husband of Helga Martin and Helen wife of Donald Hainley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother and sister in law; Kenneth husband of Fay Martin.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Zeltenreich Reformed Church, 752 Hollander Road, New Holland PA 17557 with Pastor Robert Godfrey officiating. A Viewing will be held for two hours prior to the time of service. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ephrata Manor Benevolent Fund, 30 North 31st Street, Camp Hill PA 17011.
