She was a member of the HB Grange, the Women’s Club, faithfully taught Sunday school and enjoyed watching the Phillies. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Deborah A. Elmer, Susan S. Shirk and her husband Rob, and Jackie L. Phillips and her husband Perry, her granddaughter, Lucy Dolph and her husband Ryan, and her great grandchildren, Lena and Nolan Dolph, all of Honey Brook. She is also survived by her sisters, Jane Sweitzer and her husband Lloyd and Carol Nunemaker.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her son-in-law, Keith (Moe) Elmer and her brother-in-law, Jere Nunemaker.
