Dorothy Weatherholtz

Dorothy Weatherholtz, 93, of 6 Funk St., Strasburg, died Monday, January 16, 2012 at Garden Spot Village after a brief illness. Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Patton) Wilson. Her husband, Earl O. Weatherholtz, died Dec. 21, 2006. She worked most recently as a waitress at the Leola Family Restaurant. She is the last of her family. Preceding her in death are three half brothers, Harold Weiler, G. Kenneth Weiler, and Carl "Red" Cresswell. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 20 at 2 pm at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, with the Chaplain Marion Harnish officiating. Interment will be in the United Methodist Cemetery of Churchtown. Viewing will be held on Friday from 1-2 pm at Garden Spot Village Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
