Douglas Edward Hall

Douglas Edward Hall, born September 26, 1971, the youngest son of Neil and Barbara Hall of Lancaster, passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on March 8th from complications associated with Renal Disease.

Douglas graduated from Conestoga Valley High School in 1989 and Magna Cum Laude from George Mason University, Fairfax, Va., in 1993 with a B.A. in International Studies. After starting his career in commercial real estate Douglas pursued his lifelong interest in automobiles while employed by the Penske Automotive Group in Providence, R.I.

Douglas became an ardent fan of the Boston Bruins hockey club, sharing a common passion with his son. Douglas will be remembered for his exuberant sense of humor, his zeal for life, and his devotion to his family.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Chase Bradley Hall, of Lincoln, R.I., his siblings, Janet Hall Zavrel and her husband, Chris, and their family, of Arlington, Va., and Neil C. Hall, Jr. and his wife, Leslie, and their family, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Barbi Jo Minnick Denham, the love of his life, of Middletown, De.

A life celebration service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Bangor Episcopal Church, Churchtown. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:30-1:00 p.m. Kindly omit flowers. Memorials may be sent to the scholarship fund for Chase Hall, Sun East FCU, P.O.
