Douglas L. Kauffman

Douglas L. Kauffman, 63, of 322 Prospect St., New Holland, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at York Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Gilbert S. and Sara J. (Hindman) Kauffman.

He was a 1969 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School and was a fabric cutter for Flexsteel, Lancaster.

He was a member of Okolona United Methodist Church in Church Hill, TN but locally attended The Worship Center.

Surviving are four children: Bryan Kauffman (Stephanie), Millersville; Heather Thomas, (Robert), Lancaster, Colleen Kauffman (Stephen Shepherd), Lancaster, Matthew Kauffman (Maria), New Holland; his former spouse, Linda Kauffman, Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; and three siblings: Gilbert Kauffman (Linda), Dennis Kauffman (Ann), and Darlene Perez (Michael).

His funeral will be held on Monday, July 21 at 11 a.m. at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St, New Holland. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park. A viewing will be held at the Groff-High on Monday from 9 – 11 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
