Edna N. Graybill

Edna N. Graybill, 90, formerly of East Earl, passed away early Sunday morning, July 31, 2016, at Fairmount Homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Omar M. Graybill in 2015.


Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Samuel O. and Anna (Martin) Nolt.


Edna was a pie baker for the former People’s Restaurant, New Holland and was a member of and baked for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fivepointvile Fire Co. She was a fantastic homemaker who enjoyed cooking and being with her grandchildren.


She was a member of Bethany Grace Fellowship Church, East Earl.


Surviving are five children: Gene married to Marilyn Graybill, New Holland; Linda married to Richard E. Leid, Denver; Donna married to James Redcay, Denver; Kathy married to David Helman, Stevens; Thomas L. Graybill, Denver; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Esther married to Jacob Kreider, Kinzers and Dorothy married to Elam Blank, Parkesburg.


She was preceded in death by an infant son, and five siblings: Paul M. Nolt, Harlan M. Nolt, Mabel Mellinger, Anna Mary Bollinger, and Arlene Hershey.


Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Bethany Grace Fellowship Church with Rev. Leon Shirk and Pastor Chris Smeltz officiating. Interment will be in Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 – 11 a.m. If desired, memorials may be sent to Hospice & Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be posted at www.groffeckenroth.com.
