Elaine S. Smith

Elaine S. Smith, 79, of Denver, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late John J. Smith, Jr.

Born in Coaldale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Elsie M. (Hahn) Williams, Jr.

Elaine worked as a homemaker, taking loving care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She also enjoyed doing needlepoint, plastic canvas, baking, and playing a variety of card games.

She is survived by five children; John Smith, Jr. of Waco, TX, Debbie Masucci of Levittown, PA, Cindy Miller of Narvon, PA, Diana Cricks of Ephrata, PA, and Larry Smith of Stevens, PA; a sister, Marjorie Hibble of South Bound Brook, NJ; 29 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Don D. Smith; and a sister, Joan McLaughlin.

A viewing will be held on Saturday December 6th from 9-11 AM at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, PA 17581.
