Elenore R. Campbell

Elenore R. Campbell, 93, of Ephrata, formerly of New Holland, died Monday, July 21, 2014 of natural causes at Ephrata Manor.

Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of Thomas and Carrie (Kidd) Campbell. Her husband, Robert B. Campbell, died in Dec. 1994.

Elenore retired from New Holland Machine Company where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of the Zeltenreich Reformed Church and she enjoyed reading, playing games, and golfing.

Surviving are three children, Diane, married to John Tohlman of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Robert C., married to Florence (Lyke) Campbell of Blairsville, GA, and Janice M., married to Raymond Haldeman of Churchtown; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and two sisters-in-law, Peggy Campbell of Michigan, and Jane Campbell of New Jersey.

Preceding her in death is a son, Thomas B. Campbell; a grandson, Gary Haldeman; three brothers, Thomas, Arthur, and John Campbell; and a sister, Mildred Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 2 pm at Ephrata Manor Chapel with Chaplain Ed Dickel officiating. Interment will be in the Zeltenreich Cemetery.
