Elizabeth H. Zimmerman

Elizabeth H. Zimmerman, 78, of 931 Center Church Road, East Earl, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the home of her daughter Lucinda Hoover.

Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Menno M. and Elizabeth (Hoover) Martin. Her husband, John I. Zimmerman, died Nov. 14, 2012.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and a member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving are 10 children, Ellen M., married to Alvin M. Zimmerman of Thorp, WI, Anna M., married to Eugene N. Hoover of Dundee, NY, Reuben M., married to Eunice (Stauffer) Zimmerman of Withee, WI, Elizabeth M., married to Edward N. Hoover of Ionia, IA, Ada Mae, married to Allen N. Reiff of Withee, WI, Lucinda M., married to Marlin N. Hoover of East Earl, Wilma M., married to Leon R. Nolt of Dundee, NY, Katie M., married to Samuel W. Leinbach of Thorp, WI, John Isaac, Jr., married to Katie (Leinbach) Zimmerman of East Earl, and Edward M., married to Elizabeth (Leinbach) Zimmerman of Owen, WI; 78 grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren; three brothers, Allen H. Martin of Denver, Noah H. Martin of New Holland, and Aaron H., married to Dorothy (Zimmerman) Martin of Denver; and a sister, Anna M., married to Reuben Ringler of Denver.

Preceding her in death is a daughter, Mary Zimmerman; two sisters; seven brothers; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12 at 9 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 am at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church with the Bishop Elam Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Sunday at the late home from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
