Ella N. Zimmerman

Ella N. Zimmerman, 83, of 306 Linden St., East Earl, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Ephrata Community Hospital.

Born in Upper Leacock Twp., the daughter of the late Samuel and Susanna (Nolt) Reiff. She would have been married 61 years on Oct. 30 to Harvey S. Zimmerman.

Ella was a homemaker and a member of the Weaverland Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving in addition to her husband are 14 children, Ammon R., married to Lydia (Weaver) Zimmerman of Orrstown, Aaron R., married to Mary L. (Hoover) Zimmerman of Owen, WI, Harvey R., married to Arlene (Shirk) Zimmerman of Narvon, Melvin R., married to Katie L. (Zimmerman) Zimmerman of Narvon, Norman R., married to Vera R. (Oberholtzer) Zimmerman of Shippensburg, Edwin R., married to Ellen (Martin) Zimmerman of Penn Yan, NY, Mary R., married to David M. Shirk of East Earl, John R., married to Nancy E. (Shirk) Zimmerman of Narvon, Reuben R., married to Marion N. (Sensenig) Zimmerman of Penn Yan, NY, Raymond R., married to Etta L. (Zimmerman) Zimmerman of Penn Yan, NY, Paul R., married to Wilma N. (Reiff) Zimmerman of Newville, Mabel R. married to Raymond H. Zimmerman of Leola, David R., married to Edna M. (Zimmerman) Zimmerman of East Earl, and Ella R., married to Curvin N. Sensenig of Penn Yan, NY; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Hoover and Susanna Hoover both of New Holland; and a brother, Samuel Reiff of New Holland.

Preceding her in death are two brothers, Aaron and John Reiff; and a sister, Lizzie Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 29 at 9 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 am at the Weaverland Old Order Mennonite Church with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be at the late home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
