Ella G. Wenger

Ella G. Wenger, 92, of 333 Wheat Ridge Dr., Ephrata, formerly of Voganville Rd., New Holland, died Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Fairmount Home.

Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Annie (Groff) Wenger.

Ella was a seamstress for Bareville Garment Company for many years and a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were four siblings: David Wenger, Allen Wenger, Eli Wenger, and Lydia Burkholder.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Fairmount Homes Farm Crest Chapel with further services at 2 p.m. at Groffdale Mennonite Church with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman, Richard Burkholder, Edwin Reiff, James Oberholtzer, and Jerry Wenger officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at Fairmount Homes Farm Crest Chapel on Sunday from 5 – 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
