Elva W. (Martin) Brubaker, 95, of E. Cocalico Twp, died at home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She had been under the care of Hospice and Community Care.
She was the wife of the late Elvin G. Brubaker who died September 22, 1999. Born in Caernarvon Twp, she was the daughter of the late Elam K. and Lydia W. (Weaver) Martin.
A retired homemaker, she was a member of the Muddy Creek Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.
Surviving are five sons, Earl Brubaker of New Holland, Paul husband of Eva Ringler Brubaker of East Earl, James Brubaker of East Waterford, Jesse husband of Mary Martin Brubaker of Withee, WI, and Elmer Brubaker at home; a daughter Esther Brubaker at home; 15 Grandchildren, 62 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha W. Martin Leid Zimmerman wife of Samuel Zimmerman of Fleetwood. She was preceded in death by a son, David M. Brubaker, six brothers, Aaron W., Harvey W., Alvin W., Ammon W., Floyd W., and Marvin W. Martin, and by sisters, Ellen W. Martin and Lydia W. Sensenig.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, at 9:30 A.M at Muddy Creek Mennonite Church, 531 S. Muddy Creek Road, Denver, PA with Bishop Leon Zimmerman officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the home of Eugene Brubacker, 195 Chestnut Hill Road, Stevens, PA.
