Elva W. Sensenig

Elva W. Sensenig, 72, of 220 Conestoga Creek Road, East Earl, died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at her home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Earl Twp., she was a daughter of the late Isaac N. and Lydia S. (Weaver) Zimmerman. She is the wife of John D. Sensenig.

Elva was a homemaker and a member of the Weaverland Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving in addition to her husband are 10 children, Ruth Ann, married to Eugene Brubacher of Withee, WI, James, married to Lydia (Reiff) Sensenig of Narvon, Luella, married to Wilmer Reiff of Ephrata, Anita, married to Edwin Burkholder of New Holland, Warren, married to Linda (Burkholder) Sensenig of Narvon, Elva Jane, married to Elvin Burkholder of New Holland, Esther, married to Laverne Hoover of Ephrata, John Daniel, married to Marie (Fox) Sensenig of East Earl, Lucille, married to Nelson Burkholder of Denver, and Suetta, married to Leonard Horning of New Holland; 66 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and 6 brothers, Marvin, married to Esther (Hoover) Zimmerman of Denver, Amos, married to Mabel (Sensenig) Zimmerman of Stevens, Aaron, married to Edna (Nolt) Zimmerman of Denver, Noah, married to Frances (Shirk) Zimmerman of Shippensburg, Elvin, married to Etta (Zimmerman) Zimmerman of Shippensburg, and Mahlon, married to Mabel (Zeiset) Zimmerman of East Earl.

Preceding her in death are 2 infant sisters, and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 9 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 am at Weaverland Mennonite Church with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday, at the late home, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
