Emil Yeager, 88, of Narvon PA., passed away Dec. 21, 2011 at Ephrata Hospital. Born in Feasterville, PA., the son of the late Michael Daniel and Julianna (Hammel) Yeager, he resided in Feasterville with his wife for most of his life, moving to Narvon in 2002. Emil enlisted in the US Navy in 1942 serving in the Pacific conflict in WWII. He was honorably discharged in 1945. He was married to LaVerne (Schulze) Yeager in 1946 & celebrated their 65th anniversary this year. He worked in the building and construction trade for over 40 years including 10 at Princeton University. Along with his wife, he was an avid bowler and card player. Early on, he played in a hometown softball league and later he and his wife joined a square dancing club. Surviving Emil are his wife, LaVerne; daughter, Sharon and her companion Andrew; son, Raymond and his wife Jennifer; granddaughter, Stephanie; and grandson, Raymond. Emil was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth; brother, Louis; and sisters, Carole and Isabelle. Military services are pending.
