Emma L. Good

Emma L. (Shupp) Good, 98, a resident of Fairmount Homes passed away on May 29, 2025.

Born in Denver, she was the daughter of the late Walter S. and Ada H. (Trostle) Shupp.

She was the wife of the late Carl A. Good, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage until the time of his passing on August 3, 2017.

She was a member of Red Run Mennonite Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, gardening in her flower gardens, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family.

Emma is survived by her daughters, Linda Metzger wife of Edwin and Sandra Merklinger, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sister, Dorothy Fultz and sister in laws Agnes Shupp and Janice Shupp.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Carl A. Good, Jr. and siblings, Helen Boyer, Arlene Noll, Elmer, Richard, Walter, Chester and Robert Shupp.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 3 pm,  at Fairmount Homes Farm Crest Chapel, 1100 Farm Crest Drive, Ephrata PA 17522. A Viewing will be held for one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be held in Center Union Cemetery.
