Enos N. Weaver, 87, of Lincoln Christian Home, Ephrata, formerly of Red Well Rd., Kinzers, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2014 at Lincoln Christian Home. He was the husband of the late Mabel (Martin) Weaver, who died October 20, 2012.
Born in Leacock Twp., he was the son of the late Mahlon and Lena (Nolt) Weaver.
He was a retired farmer and custodian for Pequea Valley School District. He had also been a driver for the Amish community.
Enos was a member of Pequea Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
Surviving are five children: Marvin husband of Ruth Ann (Zimmerman) Weaver, Selinsgrove; John husband of Elaine (Groff) Weaver, Kinzers; Enos, Jr. husband of Anna Mary (Horst) Weaver, New Holland; Mary Jane wife of Curvin Hoover, Kinzers; and Elvin husband of Delores (Nolt) Weaver, Kinzers; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a step sister-in-law, Barbara Weaver, Ephrata.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, a great granddaughter; three brothers: Michael, Franklin, and Henry Weaver and five sisters: Elizabeth Martin, Emma Martin, Anna Reiff, Mary Weaver and Martha Martin.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. at Fairmount Home Farm Crest Chapel with further services at 10 a.m. at Pequea Mennonite Church with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. at Fairmount Homes Farm Crest Chapel. Kindly omit flowers. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
