Erma Jane Mckillips

Erma Jane (Trout) McKillips, 81, of 203 Tina Lane, New Holland, formerly of Kinzers died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Ephrata Community Hospital.

Born in Kinzers, she was the daughter of the late Lester Ray and Edna Kathryn (Gaul) Trout.

She was a laminator for G & T Industries from which she retired. Her chief joy in life was spending time with her grandson.

Surviving are two daughters: Barbara McKillips and Debbie S. married to Robert Shoemaker, both of New Holland; a grandson Robert Shoemaker II; and two sisters: Elsie Chalfant, Kinzers and Velda Opple, New Providence.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen McKillips and a son, Roy R. “Skippy” McKillips III, four brothers and a sister.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Kinzer Mennonite Cemetery, 45 N. Kinzer Rd., Kinzers with Pastor Dwight Groff officiating. Kindly omit flowers.
