Erma Stoltzfus

Erma Stoltzfus, 92, of Elverson, died at her residence on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, after a long illness.

Born in Elverson, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Mary (Beiler) Stoltzfus. Her husband, Louis G. Stoltzfus, died May 29, 1989.

Erma and Louis owned Spring Hollow Dairy Farm, sold Avon products, and was a school bus driver after her retirement. She was also a member of the Church of the Brethern of Harmonyville. Erma enjoyed quilting, the outdoors, and spending leisure time at her Log Haven cabin in the Poconos.

Surviving are three sons, all of whom reside in Elverson; Louis, Jr. husband of Judy (Petersheim) Stoltzfus, Gerald, husband of Darlene (Peachey) Stoltzfus, and James, husband of Andrea (Potts) Stoltzfus; a sister, Mabel Zimmerman, wife of Melvin, of Strasburg; 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Stoltzfus; two sisters, Alta Sharp and Clara Stoltzfus; and a brother, Marvin Stoltzfus, husband of Esther (Hess).

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9 at 11 AM at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 East Main St., Terre Hill with the Pastor John Kolle officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family. Viewing will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday from 9:30 – 11 AM.
