Esther Mae (Weinhold) Good Gehman, 95, passed away on November 7, 2023 as a resident of Fairmount Homes.
Born in East Cocalico Township, she was the daughter of the late Daniel R. and Martha (Landis) Weinhold.
She was the loving wife of the late A. Harland Good, with whom she shared thirty-six years of marriage until the time of his passing in 1983 and the late Lester W. Gehman, with whom she shared twenty-three years until the time of his passing in 2013.
She was a member of Gehman Mennonite Church. She was a homemaker and had worked in the cafeteria at New Holland Elementary School for eight years and Garden Spot Middle School for thirteen years until her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed quilting for her family and for the Fairmount Homes Auctions and traveling, especially to Sarasota, FL where she would reside every year during the colder months.
Esther is survived by her children; Ray H. husband of Doris (Hess) Good of Florida, Glen L. husband of Ruth (Bonsignore) Good of Landisville, Joyce E. widow of John Mohn of Ephrata, Janet L. wife of Dennis Sauder of Olanta, PA, Jay N. husband of Debra (Eberly) Good of Denver and Joan M. widow of Frank Swayze of Akron, her stepchildren; Mary Lynn wife of John Miller, Lowell D. husband of Joyce (Good) Gehman and Nelson D. husband of Dianne (Weber) Gehman. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she is predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Grace Fellowship, 400 Reading Road, East Earl, PA 17519 with Pastor Phil Horning officiating. There will be a viewing held for one hour prior to the time of service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
