Esther Mae Good

Esther Mae Good, 74, of 1209 Farm Crest Dr., Ephrata, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in East Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Martin M. and Anna S. (Hoover) Good.

Mae retired from the plant services department of the former Ford New Holland. After retirement, she did cleaning for several businesses on a part-time basis.

She was a member of Salem Evangelical Church, Voganville.

In her younger years, she was an avid traveler. She enjoyed reading, bowling, and spending time with her extended family.

Surviving are two siblings: Betty married to Luke Hoffman, New Holland and Glenn H. Good, Terre Hill; a niece, Brenda married to Lynn Weitzel; and two nephews: Thomas married to Sheila Hoffman and Michael married to Michele Hoffman.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 17 at 10 a.m. at Weaverland Mennonite Church, 210 Weaverland Valley Rd., East Earl with her pastor, John Winterstein and Bishop C. Kenneth Martin, officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Fairmount Homes Farm Crest Community Room, 1100 Farm Crest Dr., Ephrata and at the church on Friday from 9 – 10 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
