Esther Weller Steffy

Esther W. Steffy, 89, a resident of Garden Spot Village, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

She was the wife of the late Kermit R. Steffy who died in 1997. Born in Churchtown, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Mary Clark Weller.

Esther retired from Sperry New Holland in 1983 with 23 years of service. She was a member of the Churchtown United Methodist Church and she had served in the administration board and the Caernarvon Fire Co. Auxiliary.

Surviving is a son, Dennis husband of Julie Everts Steffy of Lititz; a daughter, Diane wife of Dennis Strawderman of Ephrata; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Percy Weller.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 15, at 11:30 A.M. at the Churchtown United Methodist Cemetery, 2170 Main St., Narvon, PA. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave, New Holland, PA 17557.
