Ethel A. Strock

Ethel A. Strock 75, of 54 N. Chestnut St., Elverson, died Saturday, Dec. 1 at her home. Her husband, Harry B. Strock, Jr., survives.

Born in Stowe, she was the daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Garber) Wright.

She worked at Lincoln Underwear in Pottstown, then at Graco Children’s Products in Elverson, retiring after 25 years.

Ethel loved to bake and work in her garden and flower beds.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Louise married to Floyd Jennelle, Elverson; a sister Nancy Forster, Bloomingdale, OH; three brothers: Robert Wright, Sr. married to June, Douglassville; Edward Wright married to Patricia, Augusta, ME; and Gerald Wright married to Barbara, Birdsboro.

She is very loved by many nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law Grace Miller of Boyertown and Elsie Kocher wife of Gene Kocher of Reading.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill. Interment will be in Caernarvon Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Eckenroth’s on Thursday from 1 – 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Twin Valley Fire Company, P. O. Box 181, Elverson, PA 19520.
