Eva M. Martin

Eva M. Martin, 90, of Ephrata, died Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Fairmount Homes, after a brief illness.

Born in New Holland, she was a daughter of the late Jonas N. and Emma M. (Martin) Martin.

Eva worked in the produce department at Shady Maple Farm Market until her retirement in 2006. She was a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a brother-in-law, Leroy Burkholder of East Earl.

Preceding her in death are five brothers, Leroy, Walter, Jonas, Joseph, and Titus Martin; and five sisters, Bertha Nolt, Edna Zimmerman, Emma Newswanger, Lydia Ann Leid, and Verna Burkholder.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14 at 9 am at Fairmount Homes, Wheat Ridge Chapel, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata with further services at 9:30 am at Weaverland Mennonite Church with the Bishop Amos G. Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 pm at Fairmount Homes, Wheat Ridge Chapel. Kindly omit flowers.
